1) Dysport and Botox Cosmetic: Dysport has moved up strong against Botox Cosmetic. Just like some prefer Coke and others Pepsi, the same rivalry has come about for these muscle relaxing injections. Many of our clients have moved to Dysport. They feel that it works faster and lasts longer. An honorable mention goes to Zytase which can be used prior to either injection to help the results be more effective.

2)Fillers: There has been an ongoing race between Restylane, Radiesse, and Juvederm. The addition of lidocaine to Restylane and Juvederm has increased their popularity. Each filler has its calling for different areas of the face. Sculptra is still very popular for overall volume facial enhancement. Coming up quick is Naturalfill; that is, using your own body fat to fill your face.

3)Mixto Laser Fractional Skin Resurfacing: Ever since we brought this CO2 technology from Italy, it has been an instant client pleaser. Smoothing skin; improving pore size; diminishing acne scars; reducing wrinkles; removing sun damage with minimal downtime.

4)Thermage: After close to a decade this non-surgical face lift and body tightening procedure is wonderful for those who require no down time. My patients who want additional skin benefits combine it with Mixto for my premier UPLIFT.

5)Latisse; Although this is more a product than a procedure, it deserves recognition. This product flies off the shelf like candy or the Wii game during Christmas. Longer, thicker, darker more beautiful lashes in just a few weeks.


Top 5 Surgical Procedures at Accents:

All of the surgical procedures are performed at SCM (Surgical Center of Michigan); a fully accredited operating room. Safety and a sterile environment are very important to me.

1)Laser Eyelid Surgery: Clients have traveled from from both far and near, internationally as well, for my laser eyelid lift. With this procedure I reduce the heaviness of the upper eyelids while I contour the "bags" of the lower eyelids. I have to admit I love performing this procedure. My patients heal faster than scalpel techniques and the laser skin rejuvenation works beautifully to smooth the skin. Eyebrow lifts and forehead lifts are used by many to further enhance the eyelid procedures.

2)Face Lift: I am constantly perfecting my face lift techniques. I am very much oriented to each detail of this (and all my procedures). I am very excited to announce that starting immediately I have added the Quicklift to my face lift protocol. This procedure is performed for most in less time than a standard face lift, with less risk and faster healing time. My clients can even to choose to have it performed under local anesthesia alone.

3)Co2 laser skin resufacing; Traditional laser resurfacing still remains popular after 15 years at Accents. This procedure, compared to Mixto, is performed in the operating room. It is used to greatly diminish wrinkles and sun damage while tightening the skin.
