What are people thinking? Cosmetic Disasters Await Tourists!
This is your face, your body , your eyes. Being in Michigan I have seen it for years people crossing the border for Lasik. Why? because it is cheaper. But what happens when problems occur? Your insurance doesn't cover you in another country. Those bills add up quickly to fix errors that occur elsewhere. Cheaper care is not usually better care!

Unfortunately I have seen the same type of true stories on the news... people just didn't realize that other countries don't have the same guidelines (if any) about medical care that we have in the U.S. It is something that many people find out about when it is far too late.
