I have rosacea and am at the age where my skin is not as tight as it used to be. I recently had the ReFirme treatment and was truly amazed at the difference in my skin. There was absolutley NO PAIN. I did not have to take any pain medication before or after the procedure AND there was no down time - went back to my normal activities after the treatment. I have so far had 2 of the 5 recommended treatments and honestly can't wait until #3! After the first treatment at which time one half of my face was done, looking in the mirror was unbelievable! The appearance of my "jowls" (yuck) was less noticable and once the other side was done, it made a big difference. I would definately recommend this!
I just had treatment #2 for rosacea. I have made a strong committment to continue my skin care regiment (moisturizer and sun block products) to help promote a great result. Two days after my procedure, I did notice a decrease in blood vessels especially in the cheek area. Is there a maintanence program after I complete the 5 treatment package or is it based on individual patient results?
