American Granny to have Face lift in China
What are people thinking? I understand wanting to save money but traveling all the way to China to have a face lift, that I cannot comprehend. With the expense of the flight and hotel she will more than likely spend more than if she had the surgery here. This is a procedure that needs followup with your physician. What if something goes wrong; she has a complication or a cardiac problem? Her USA medical insurance will not cover her expenses.

THAT MUST BE A RISK SHE IS WILLING TO TAKE. NOT SAYING SHE WILL NOT GET ADEQUATE CARE, JUST THAT IS A LONG WAY AWAY.
I find it hard to believe that she couldn't find the same excellence in a cosmetic surgeon for a procedure like that here in America. I would NEVER travel to have a procedure done by a doctor in a foreign country. You never know what kind of safety procedures their governments put into place for patient protection.
